WHAT IS AN NFT?

An NFT, or non-fungible token, is a digital asset that can be bought or sold online with cryptocurrency. “Non-fungible” means that it’s unique and can’t be replaced with something else. NFTs have increasingly become the most popular way to buy digital artwork as they are part of a blockchain, in this case Ethereum, and provide recorded ownership of the digital artwork. To put it in terms of physical art collecting: anyone can buy a Matisse print, but only one person can own the original!

Digital art is an exciting medium that has immense possibilities! Because digital art can be reproduced, ownership is that much more important. With NFTs I can create new, compelling works of art while providing my collectors with singular ownership.
